Product details

Start light.

A small spray on a toy or surface is all it takes. Let the scent settle, then let your cat investigate.

Watch the cat, not the bottle.

Rolling, rubbing, and play are the obvious signs, but some cats just get calm and quiet. The reaction often comes and goes. Your cat may play, wander off, then come back for more. That's totally normal.

No interest? Don't keep spraying.

Some cats simply don't react to catnip, and more spray won't change that.

Give it a break.

Space out sessions to keep the fun fresh.

The research behind it

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Will more spray get a bigger reaction?

Nope. In a 2022 study, higher amounts of catnip scent weren't linked to longer or more frequent reactions. A light spray is all your cat needs.

Why did PURR RIZZ stop working on my cat?

Catnip's effect can fade with frequent use. Give it a break between play sessions and it'll keep its magic longer.

Where should I spray it?

On toys, scratchers, cat trees, or bedding. Never directly on your cat's fur, eyes, nose, or mouth.

Why didn't my cat react?

Not every cat responds to catnip. In one study, 68 out of 100 cats did. If yours didn't, adding more spray won't change it.

My cat got calm instead of playful. Is that normal?

Yep! Some cats get zoomies, others get cozy. Both are normal catnip reactions.
